Since China and the ROK forged diplomatic ties 20 years ago, there have been tangible achievements in the development of bilateral relations, featuring strengthened political mutual trust, expanded economic cooperation and enlarged cultural exchanges, according to Liang.

The defense minister said China is willing to work with the ROK to contribute to regional peace and stability and realize common development.

Ko Myung Seung, president of the association and head of the delegation, said the ROK places great importance on deepening bilateral relations, and the association is willing to try to advance military and state-to-state relations.

The delegation, at the invitation of the China International Institute for Strategic Society, arrived in China on Monday.
