lolzz Lord Bhuddha was born near Indo-Nepali border barely 5 kms from Indian border. And he was an Indian Prince whose kingdom mostly was within the present day India and he spent 90% of his life in north India ...

Siddhartha spent his life mostly in India and he attained Buddhism and Nirvana in India but he was from Lumbini, Nepal. Technically speaking Budhha was Nepali not Indian.

I know that and i have been to Lumbini .8-)

True again, but without India there would have been no Buddhism in the world.

Credit to Nepal for the birth of the first Buddha
Obviously the small number of Indian Buddhists followers is testament to the fact that Indian soils are not favourable for Buddhists' seeds to germinate

Hinduism is older than Buddhism so Hindus survived. But chinese did not have a religion of their own or they found Buddhism to be superior so they took up Buddhism.

No need to cover the blemishes

India does not honour Buddhism nearly as much as they are worshipping Hinduism
China and many Asian country let Buddhism prosper regardless
We have many saints and sages whose thoughts and teachings can replace religious needs

Yes according to buddhiest people He was born in Lumbini . But most part of His regime was in India in U.P. His capital was kapilvastu which is in India nowadays. There was a reason why he was born in Nepal. His mother Maya travelled India to Nepal to gave birth . He was an Indian prince. We can call him Nepali but at the same time he was an indian .

I'm not an expert, nor the Indian you requested, but Buddhism is basically Hinduism without the caste system and without the polytheism. Buddhists don't worship Ganesh or Kali, and Buddhism in general has a less supernatural feeling. But otherwise, they can trace a common origin and are founded on "dharmic" principles and doctrines.
Hinduism is based on Shree Krishna message " shree Bhagawat Geeta". If you read Bhagawat geeta , it is totally based on spirituality and Nirvana. There is no Ganesh or kaali mention in it. People worship these deities because of their on desire . They were part of some different stories. So they have different value. Hinduism believes in "One God" according to Bhagawat Geeta.
