Communism is an Ideology..;same a religion... Communist saw Religion as a tool of power... They saw that Tzars used religion to put the people under chains... They weren't wrong about it... afterall Religion was always used as a tool of power in our history...
So for ppl who didn't believe, they wanted to get out of this holy circle.... it was a legitimate move...But in the End... Writings stay writings..; they are nothing more...

So when those principales were applyied on ppl... ppl changed it..;for their own greed... simple as that...

The difference is none of those whom the Chinese honors are supernatural being. They are instead their forefathers whose action has made significant contribution towards the nation and the civilization. So yes, if anyone does momentous deeds, he/she can be elevated to a holy level. Upward mobility is not just limited to the economic realm.
