And let me give you an insight into Chinese spiritual history....before buddhism, taoism, confucianism and all the other "isms"....these guys used to worship one God.

If you only look at the world through materialism, then it is like looking with just one eye.

Spirituality and higher values do not exist if you do not believe in an afterlife and God.

Yes, worshipping of One God diverged into worshipping of Nature while also diverged into ancestor worshipping (basically let them intercede between God & themselves; an old trick of Shaytaan; you can still see this in the subcontinent today also). The nature worshipping became prevalent in the Northern parts of China (Siberia, Mongolia, basically the Turks & Mongols) while river based societies in China had more structure based religions.

But thankfully, they never go to the point like it did in the subcontinent/IVC/India where it went from nature worshipping to personifying nature into actual gods to multiple gods.

And the Chinese nation was blessed with learned & understanding people like Confucius (obviously many unknown Prophets did come too) but after some time, these "isms" just went back to ancestor worshipping & other "humanistic" ideas.
