China’s Typical Expat: Male, Doesn’t Speak Chinese, and Loves It Here

The Western expat problem is not simply an issue in China, it is all over Asia. It has to do with the level of development. But this is not an excuse. The government should come out forcefully and without mercy.

South Korea has this problem too, it is not a development level problem. Also, see Charisma-man.

Stop fucking overreacting to every shit. We got a billion people and there are bound to be some cheap ho. That is true in every country. In fact, I would say it is much easy to score a White girl in the West than in conservative country like China where only the cheap ho roam the street at night.

That's another issue that I was thinking to write or not, really. Who says one is easier/cheaper than the other? For one, this kind of comparisons are both sexist and racist. For other, we are not dumbs, mostly, and we travel and know. There is no need to take unscientific observations as truth.

I remember my MA years in the US. I was at the dorm, and, unlike how we do it in China and Taiwan (not sure about Hong Kong), the school dorms were all mixed with zero enforcement of anything. You just imagine what is cheap and easy and what is not.

Yet, in Taiwan, I heard the Western guys complaining from 1. too many CCTV cameras across the campus, 2. an absolute enforcement of separate dorms, 3. no bars/clubs being allowed near the university.

The fact is that this kind of stuff stopped being an issue in the developed West for too long, but this does not change the fact that it exists. Cheap and easy, if I may use the terms I myself denounced.

The expat share these stories which create a wrong impression. This is out of their inbred racism and sexism. But most of them come to realize that nothing is as it is seems once they have a chance to come and see for themselves.

Then it is government problem. Laws must be set up and enforced. The Korean people are responsible to put there a person that best represents them. In China, as I see it, it is a development problem because there is already an undergoing reform in terms of expat/expert business. I know this because I often encounter such situation due to my profession. The policy reform will not stop anytime soon.

It is not a government or development problem, it has nothing to do with government policy. It's a problem rooted in the mindset of a people, something that you are not willing to admit.

Europe, North America and Australia are absolutely swarming with triad gangsters. Nobody judges all Chinese living here by them.

China is an 'easy lay' place for white westerners. That's just a fact.

Those non-PRC Chinese have suffered this kind of mentality much more than the PRC Chinese.

Although many PRC Chinese are also behaving like the traitorous western slaves, but most PRC Chinese still retain the Maoist mentality, which makes them less susceptible to the western influence.

Those triad gangsters have nothing in common with the PRC citizens.

And in PRC, they will all get executed by CPC.

I have no such issues, but Asians have that inferiority complex

Speak for yourself as you did in the first part of your message. The second part is merely a gross generalization. In my PoliSci seminar classes in the US, I noticed no such complex on part of students from Asia. This is just a personal trait and cannot be generalized to any ethnic/cultural group.

It is an East Asian issue. I seriously think East Asians have something to learn from the Arabs in this aspect. Especially gulf Arabs, they act alpha male when interacting with westerners.

It is rooted in the mindset due to global media influence.

And the fact that a lot of them won't even admit they have this issue means that they are still a long way from solving this problem.

We are only talking in general terms here. Of course there are alpha male Asians, but a large portion are beta type with inferiority complex.

p. s. I'm an alpha male East Asian.

No, Asians from Asia see whites as gods, we in the west see them as average joes and sometimes douche bags.

That's why we should encourage more Chinese tourists in the West.

And the HKers and Taiwanese suffer this syndrome the most, since do you think those Maoist Mainlanders would worship the westerners like gods?
