from what i have seen on this forum so far, the chinese members are not telling India or America or any other country that they should change to communist rule. you, on the other hand, are trying to force your ideals on the chinese here.

you are not chinese, your opinions on chinese internal politics means nothing. if you truly value democracy like you say, you would respect the opinions of the chinese posters here because their opinions do mean something. however, i suspect your agenda isn't democracy but simply chaos and unrest in china. i sense jealousy in posts. perhaps you cannot stomach a china that is getting wealthy and powerful?

Currency reserves are not designed to make profits, which is why they are called currency "reserves".

Those currency reserves, especially the US Dollar denominated treasuries are a surefire way to lose value let alone make profit considering the US looks like it's going to print money to pay the interest. I suspect that when the SHTF, that there may be plans to carry out a massive coordinated depreciation of the US Dollar, Euro and Yen in unison via printing money to pay off their respective sovereign debts. This would eliminate the debt crisis while keeping the developed countries financially intact but would trigger hyperinflation and a prolonged and serious stagflation. This will of course cause the developing world to retaliate financially but at least it would preserve the existing Anglo-Saxon world order and delay China's eventual usurping of this order. I suspect that if this comes to pass, that protectionism may be part of this plan but that is another story.
