Currency reserves are not designed to make profits, which is why they are called currency "reserves".

Why don't you calculate exactly how much of an economic effect the story in the OP is causing, and tell us what percentage of GDP that is.

I enjoy American democracy. It has many things that China can learn from. I fail to understand what China can learn from Indian democracy however.

from what i have seen on this forum so far, the chinese members are not telling India or America or any other country that they should change to communist rule. you, on the other hand, are trying to force your ideals on the chinese here.

you are not chinese, your opinions on chinese internal politics means nothing. if you truly value democracy like you say, you would respect the opinions of the chinese posters here because their opinions do mean something. however, i suspect your agenda isn't democracy but simply chaos and unrest in china. i sense jealousy in posts. perhaps you cannot stomach a china that is getting wealthy and powerful?
