The planes are filled. So will the new purchased birds. VN economy is expected to grow by 9 percent next year, but the aviation market grows faster, by 30 percent. As said VietJet alone recently buys 180 aircraft. Let’s say the company wants to buy additional 100 planes, the question is why should we buy Chinese planes if they cost as much as Boeing or airbus? If you offer 50 percent discount I think we can go.

FAA only cares about safety, not economics. As long as Chinese aircraft meet US safety standards, the aircraft will get their license.

If China mandates that Chinese airline buy only Chinese-made aircraft, this will definitely be an issue, not only with US, but other countries as well. But I doubt this will happen. It’s in the best interest of Chinese airlines to seek the best aircraft, at the best price. This means having more options on the table, not less.

As long as VN leaders follow the same strategies lay out buy Chinese leaders They are ok.

Look, the author claims Vietnam owns 8% growth per year, but the fact is Vietnam never achieves the 8% growth since the 21st century. And its most recent growth is 6.2%, a nice growth, but much less than the 8% claim.

I'm a bit disappointed that you, the best Vietnam-affair expert on this forum, is citing such false figures to support your claim.
