China's one-child policy among worst crimes against humanity

India's caste system is the worst human rights violation there has ever been. They discriminate because you are born to a different class and have darker skin colour like the Dalits. It's absolutely typical of a 3rd world poverty-stricken and disease filled backwater country. The Dalits are treated like animals in India.

Actually in the case of China something had to be done if the nation was to be sustainable. It has been carried out a little too harshly maybe....(no one should be forced to have only one child)....but some incentives to keep size of families down was needed. (They perhaps could have kept it to tax and economic incentives)

With one child policy, China population would grow old.

Without one child policy, China population would keep growing. China is the world most populous nation and population theoretically would grow exponentially until it cannot.

Currently China population is still growing, projected to peak around 2030.

The one child policy is officially called birth planning policy. The birth planning policy would be adjusted to monitor and control China population accordingly as and when required.

Current China foreign reserves, 3.5 trillion.

With population growing old and limited resources, how do China able to achieve sustainable growth is the 64K dollar question.

But China is certainly not going to do nothing.

We are steering far away from this dire recipe for the biggest impending human misery which is to be unfolded in history ever in the coming decade on top of the many horrendous ones which are exploding in india already NOW:

Creating a grave imbalance to the country’s already skewed food and water situation, Indian population registered a growth of 17.7 per cent in 2011 over the last decade.

According to the Primary Census Abstract 2011, India’s population over the decade has increased from 102.8 crore in 2001 to 121.1 crore in 2011. But, the growth in foodgrains production and water facilities in the country cannot meet the population explosion.

India’s growing population magnifies food and water security worries!

Humanity my a $$. Good for them Chinese kid. At least they don't have to fight with brother or sister. Once they have their only kid the kid won't have jealous cousin s.
Kid will grow up like a emperor, not like poor indian kid who has to share with his brother or sister.

As far as India n govt sponsored rape , govt backed caste system will go once Modi become s PM.

China's one-child policy among worst crimes against humanity? :cuckoo: we're only ask parent to raise their only child properly and do parent's duty as provide food and healthcare to the child. Indian slum uncontrol population is the worst crime against humanity, here the link, it's the most cruel silence genocide.

Diseases and Health Care

Diseases

Diarrhoea, parasitic infestation and fecal oral epidemics are due to poor sanitation and no access to basic facilities such as restrooms. In India, 15 hundred thousand children die each day because of diarrhoea and every 15 seconds a child dies because of water related diseases. According to Gethin Chamberlain, nearly 2 million Indian children die under five each day and that is the highest number all over the world. Ways that all of this could be prevented is by aiding them with clean water and providing them access to basic facilities; restrooms being the main one
Health care

According to Gethin Chamberlain, Indian state healthcare was supposed to be opened to all and supply both rich and poor with the necessary healthcare, but to date they have failed to do that. They have not been out to reach the slum areas and get them the healthcare they deserve. Sometimes, people in the slum get sick and start to develop symptoms that later on turn out to be a mortal disease, but the two reasons why they do not go and seek help is because

1. It is considered luxury to them and
2. The medical help is sometimes too far to go and by the time they get there the sick do not always make it (Shireen Miller).

Sometimes, the ones who are lucky enough to make it and get medical assistance are not treated properly.
They are being vaccinated with used syringes that sometimes have been used more than 10 times on different people with different diseases. This leads them to get more illnesses and exposes them to death much faster. Children sometimes find these syringes when they are playing around and they pick them up and go resell them for 10 cents each, or they use it to drink water. This is something that should not be happening but unfortunately it is, due to the healthcare being unattended and not treating them the right way.

I disagree. I believe there should be a balance. A stable population is the best.. We don't know how the future with an aging population will be. I think japan, Germany and Russia will provide some clues over the the next few decades.

Which is why it is called the family planning policy instead of one-child policy. Because it has way much content to it than just the "one child" portion that so many foreigners like to harp on. For example, the policy states that should both parents be the only child, they can have more children. Also, should be first child died or the local needs indicate that the family requires offspring, more children can be approved. Not to mention that all policies in China are subjected to change according to the actual need of the society.

There are no brothers, no sisters, no uncles, no aunties, no siblings at all. Now that sounds like a very good society.

Like to add "no Niece, No nephew, No sister-in-law, no brother-in-law...in Indian Language we still have many terminology.
