China did that to Britain, France and Germany and it worked like magic. It's not a big deal cause China always does that and those countries instead become very friendly with China.

Indeed. The only other option for Mongolia is Russia, and China and Russia seem to have come to some sort of an agreement over power sharing in Central Asia, thanks to the SCO. I fail to see what benefit Mongolia can receive by cozying up to India, whilst antagonizing China.
