from 2012-2014, these 3 years, 200 billion new tons of the mineral reserves of Coal were discovered.


The annual coal production by provinces (2014)

1. Shanxi: 1 billion tons

2. Inner Mongolia: 980 million tons

3. Shaanxi: 520 million tons

4, Guizhou: 185 million tons

5. Shandong: 150 million tons

6. Xinjiang: 143 million tons

7. Henan: 135 million tons

8. Hebei: 87 million tons


Total production: 3.6 billion tons (2014)

And this answered why Inner Mongolia has big GDP. 1 billion ton of coal. About 80 billion dollars.
