1979, a little more than two years after the cultural revolution, the most destructive thing to happen to the PLA ever. It decimated morale, command, and equipment. I won't go into the details, it's not a secret what the revolution did to the army.

I was gonna post some pictures to show the difference, but then this is a military forum, I'm sure you have already seen it.

So there's two explanation for this, either you see what you want to see or you are just trolling.

If we fought today, Vietnam air force will be wiped out within 24 hours, as there is no old style dog fights, all will be settled beyond visual range.

Vietnam navy will be gone within a day too, that too is also not skilled based but equipment based, and ours can jam yours and sink it with missiles that you can't afford.

This would mean we have total air superiority and can land with our marines where ever on the coast of Vietnam.

As to land force, we will have our own Beidou satellite system, while you would have no access to it, so if you have smart weapons, it would be useless.

Our tanks have better communication and positioning system which means we would detect you before you would us and we could attack in a more organized and effective fashion.

We have enough helicopters to transport our troops with ease and speed. We have transport planes that would be able to keep our troops supplied.

So unless you are saying Vietnamese army are in fact invulnerable to bullets and missiles, and can kill with your mind, then not much you can do.

Well, their rocket technology can't even compare to China did in the 1970s.

While they pay most attention to use their limit budget in order to have "advanced rocket", and let their people starved; we become 1 of the top 3 exporters for rice. We donated foods to NK as UN always recommend to do that.

Why we must expecting our lead of the world by military equipment ?

The news I read told that nowaday Chinese family only expect 1 child because they used to be with the 1-child policy, and also feel hard to raise more than 1 child. Is it true ?

We used to with the 2 child and more than 2.To me, I love 3-4 and already have 3 kids.

The Most heroic mother in Vietnam has 9 sons and the husband are KIAs during our liberation war.
