I am not a big fan of deep sea drilling. It's better to drill closer to the shore so that accidents can be easier to fix in case anything goes wrong. The BP oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico demonstrated how much a clusterfcuk it can be to seal a well in the ocean. Had it been close to the shore, it could have been contained within few days instead of dragging on for more than two weeks.
