China's first mission to the Red Planet

People like you constantly shift the goal post until the conversation deteriorates to irreverence.
Bottom line, China is yet to achieve the lift capacity of our 1960's launch platforms such as Saturn V.

1968 ... 52 years ago....tick..tock..
Lol.. more like you can't accept my fact. India claim they are superpower now that is bigger than US and China bases on calculation that they will surpass both in year 2100. :enjoy:

The scientists also spotted traces of the previous Apollo mission in the images, said Yan Jun, chief application scientist for China's lunar exploration project.

But then maybe the Chinese are in on the conspiracy too...

There were many amateur astronomers back then. Of course they had to put a few props on the places they claimed they been to... But u telling me primitive (old) America was able to accomplish a feat modern Amurica couldn't? LOL. Hoax right there!

This vid below too funy:

China puts fake props of helis n planes in airfields to dupe the enemy satellite pics. Why couldn't/wouldn't America do the same to their space missions in the 60's?

But they did Achieve other than that, that US not achieve in China level. Like Quantum Satellite Communication, Untouch Far Side of the Moon Exploration, 3 Mars Mission (Orbiter, Lander, and Rover) in One Go, and soon in November this year, Robotic Lunar Sampling Mission.

Don't be narrow minded like that.
Space is a new expanse frontier, not only for who have bigger dick contest like indian mind

You have no problem measuring your dick against minnows (Indians) but when I respond to your false claims you suddenly don't like measuring dicks. You claimed that the US had nothing comparable to Long March 5, I countered that claim with facts. You then kept shifting goal posts and now you bring up Quantum Satellites - a vanity project with no real scientific benefit. You probably don't know that DARPA's Quantum Network became fully operational in BBN’s laboratory in October 2003, and has been continuously running in 6 nodes operating through telecommunications fiber between Harvard University, Boston University, and BBN since June 2004.

In other words DARPA created a Quantum Internet in 2003. LOS - Line of sight, single node Quantum communication between a satellite and the earth is easy and scientifically pointless, but it does grab headlines.

When you engage people in the scientific community you will come to realize that China is squandering its national wealth and human capital on such vanity projects. Great for political mileage. but otherwise wasted capital.

Bla bla bla.. If you want to be a troller, do it in another forum @dbc
When I said US not have Long March 5 Rocket class?
Don't stir my words.

Yes, I said that US not reach China Tech Level in Quantum Satellite Communication, Far-Side Moon Exploration, 3 Mars Mission (Orbiter, Lander, and Rover) in One Go, and soon in November this year, Robotic Lunar Sampling Mission

Just like NASA or spaceX are not capable to land on far side of the moon compare to China.

LOL! Every spot on Mars is pretty much the far side considering it is rotating and orbiting the sun.

Now some smart alec try to claim orbit around the earth and orbit around the sun is the same...

No wonder US basic education are failing and need massive talent import to rectify the short fall.

I do wonder when China is planning on sending a man to the Moon ... it seems to be within the capability of their space program but why haven't they set a timeline yet? Seems interesting. It would be a huge feat of prestige to be the second to reach the Moon.

Are you a complete dummy or something? We have two satellites orbiting Mars relaying data no matter what side of the planet our rovers are currently on. The rover could be facing Earth or on the opposite side depending upon the rotation of Mars. You do know Mars spins?

Priority is for a unmanned sample return from Mars. The lunar sample return in November 2020 will verify all those technology.

CZ-9 giant rocket is in good progress. propulsion and critical tech design has already conquer and going into actual prototype production.
