I more of seeing that you failed to provide a single reputable Indian brand recognisable outside India especially western world becos it is indeed the case. India is still far away from challenging China in terms of commercial influence and power.

I could have given you many other examples, but I wanted to point it out that china doesn't have any brand of their own invention. Android phones and lenovo thinkpad laptops don't qualify as chinese brands by your own logic.

What is a brand? What do you consider a brand? China is not built on innovation, the nature of the game has changed.

A smart man without education, experience, a team, and funding as well as plenty of other things can no longer do what was once possible.

With the start of WW2, and Italy's victory over Ethiopia, marked strategic stupidity and brilliance no longer makes a difference if the technological difference is too big.

Modern China is a nation built on copying, there's no two way around it.

Again, what do you consider a brand? A Chinese factory chain, maybe nameless, but it still employees hundred thousand or more.

I'll say it we don't have many brands, but companies like Xiaomi, or Huawei can make some sort of push world wide, that's built on the works of the previous generation.

Like I said, the best chinese achievement is a website. What we have and do not have has nothing to do with China. China has to do with China, not India, Vietnam, Timbaktu, Sierra Leone or Somalia.

China should stop trying to copy and steal...and maybe, maybe you will get to name a high class chinese product which is not a website.

Actually the best Chinese achievement is the massive elimination of poverty, upping the living standard, population control, and more.

India has tried to go innovation driven economy only to discover developing economy has as much chance of that as me playing in the NBA.

Developing economies are developing for the exact reasons, they are unable to compete in the high end market.

In fact any cheap, low quality, crappy product is referred to as 'china maal', such is their reputation, not only in India but across the world.

Though only across the developed world is it not a cruel joke. These Chinese products have given homes, jobs, and savings to hundreds of millions, perhaps not as much relative to the developed world, but heck of a lot more than the nothing the developing world has.

I would agree, all signs points to China being the second fiddle in terms of military.

China barely produces anything of quality, China is an outsourcing destination that manufactures foreign products under foreign quality control standards, chinese products are basically worthless.
