Attack helicopters are specialised for strike and ground support.

No heli in the world can counter even a 3rd gen fighter plane let alone a 5th gen.

these days in western media, china phobia means a high paying job for a journalist and quick sales for magazine..just look around yourself and find countless china experts who know jacksh1t about military goods, air crafts and war..i reckon the above proposed Chinese crafts is as good as futuristic concept only.

I have not seen any intakes or engine nozzles, so I don't know how this aircraft gets is forward thrust.

You probably missed there is a rare fan to give it forward push.

But this at most could be an observatory or AA/AG missile launching platform. It appears to have stealth characteristics but it is not an attack platform as it doesn't have necessary throttle to approach and return back from the point of attack. so most probably it will be flying with the speed of a UAV.

There hasn't been any example of such helicopter before so not sure. BUT if Americans really think it is to counter their top fighter, they are best kind of idiots even to imagine that! GOD what do these guys eat?
