Seems unlikely, considering the very obvious balance of power between modern China and India. This isn't 1962 anymore, where China was in the middle of a famine and at war with both the superpowers.
Today, India stands no chance. The tables have turned completely around. India can't even handle the most basic stuff like border infrastructure, basic infantry equipment, or even enough ammunition to last a week.
And India knows this, which is why they failed to uphold their mutual defence treaty with Bhutan in Donglang, only sending unarmed soldiers to hold hands and cry about their Chicken's Neck. Which is why Bhutan is now leaning towards China's offer.
We have been hearing this yada yada for 3 months now.
Xi has done the same thing Nehru did in 1962.
My sincere hope is that your CCP does not hang Xi. May be jail him but please don't kill him for this mistake.
