A very simple rule in the international arena: national interest of a player is always the supreme goal. Any slogans such as democracy, religion and the like, are all nothing but a banner, a pretext, under which the player tries to maximize his/her own national interest.
Indian government will never abandon its relationship with China just because of the Chinese system, since this is where the maximal Indian national interest is, in this respect.
Let’s forget about the political system, stop babe-talking, and be practical and do down-to-the-earth business.
