China urges EU to lift arms embargo

It was built many years after the first two ones, logically it should be an improved variant.

I don't get why they would build improved Type 094 variants when they have the Type 096 in development.

Any idea when they will be revealed?

so , china need Europien weapons ..!!

No, China simply needs Europe's warm heart.

If you know anything regarding politics of 1989 and the situation today, it is very clear that China is trying to remove the embargo purely to strengthen relations.

Some of their technology can be some extra bonus for us, and that's all.

We don't desperately need anyone's technology.

Exactly right.

The Europeans have some nice technology, but it is better for us if we can develop it ourselves.

It will take some time, but it's a good investment for our future.

To me, it seems that there will be no model 3 of Type 094, since Type 094 is just a imtermediate product just like Type 093.

With emergence of Type 095, i am sure we will see Type 096 soon, since the debut of SSN and SSBN is usually paired together.

And the production line for Type 094 will be soon closed like Type 093.

If we are ever going to import something from Europe, it's mainly going to be small subsystems, such as datalinks, engines, guided artillery shells, etc, just like the US does.

3 Type 094 models? Is that necessary? Could the Type 3 be the Type 096?

I think the model 3 of Type 094 should be essential Type 096, a SSBN carrying 24 intercontinental SLBMs.

And please read my post carefully, i said there will be NO model 3 of Type 094.

The production line for Type 094 will be soon closed like Type 093.

I see, but then that would make the Type 094 Type 2 the intermediate stage, kind of like how the Type 052C+ is an intermediate stage between the Type 052C and Type 052D.

Moreover, Type 085 AC is a Chinese version of Nimitz carrier, it is also an intermediate stage.

PLAN's true goal is the Gerald Ford carrier.

don't you think EU is more carefull of it's intelectual-copy-right issues , then russia ?

All countries are concerned with copyrights. It's just that they want to make money too.

And to the Chinese boys here, AESA for J-10B is sheer speculation at this point. Newer Typhoons will be upgraded with AESA next year while trench 4 Rafale is already equipped with AESA.

There's no need to worry about so called "intellectual property" issues if China finishes development of a superior system a short while later.

J-10B's randome is slanted and contains vents especially allocated for AESA radars. Just compare the nose of the J-10B to the nose of a F-16 Block 60. Anyone with any basic knowledge of such matter can point it out.

J-10B won't be the only non-5th-generation fighter with AESA. Chinese military officials commented that the J-11B and J-15 are currently installing AESA radar. Insider employees also mentioned that the J-16 and J-19 will incorporate AESA as well.

BTW, calling us "Chinese boys" will not grant you any prestige or respect. Instead, it only makes you look like an ignorant and ill-informed fool that wants to look tough to hide his lack of information.
