"You do know the projected LRIP Production of J-20 this year is 5" , "YOU DO KNOW",Hello? This sound more than an estimation to me. If the production rate would not stay the same, how DO I KNOW and HOW DO YOU KNOW it is 5 this year?Because you saw 5 LAST YEAR?
I am talking about the projection data coming form the last year production rate, Unless you have proof that last year the Chinese made more than 5 J-20, that projection stand, because Projection is always based on last year production. It does not matter if I said "You Do Know" or "You do not know", I said "You Do Know" hinting at you know about the production last year is at 5, as Sina Claim, but I don't actually believe they did make 5. I saw picture of 2107, BUT 2108 IS NO WHERE TO BE FOUND.
On the other hand,
OUT OF NOWHERE, you claim the Production rate is projected to be 10 this year, and I asked you how you come to that conclusion, which is
THE QUESTION YOU STILL REFUSED TO ANSWER
That come back to the original question.
Even, for argument sake, what you said is correct, by any mean, J-20 is at a production rate of 10 per, How long it would take to get 100 of them? Production level changes, but not 100% change (from 10 to 20 a year) It's acceptable if you are talking about small incremental increase like 5 this year 7 next year, and 10 the next, But what you are claiming is that China can change from 10 this year to a end product of 100 in 5 years, do you know the difference in there? You need to make 10, then 15, then 20, then 25, then 30 per year. You are talking about 300% increase in production rate in 5 years? Do you know how impossible that was?
Let alone most likely China will not be able to make 10 this year alone.
The link I provided is 2017 Mar's news, dont change much comparing to things 2-5 years ago, if you cannot read, I provide the link again:
'Price tag is the only thing stealthy about the F-35': scathing new report tears the F-35 to shreds
https://uk.news.yahoo.com/price-tag-only-thing-stealthy-181104453.html
So, you see, after 5 years, the mess is still a mess, judging by this rate obviously I was being quite optimistic to say that it may only take 10 yrs for F-35 to solve their mess.
Did you actually read the news, or you just quote because you read the title??
Because it said in the news.
Perhaps the article's most cogent point comes on the subject of the price. Lockheed Martin recently announced a plan to
bring the price of individual F-35A jets to about $85 million, a similar price to a new F-18 Super Hornet
The title is said because the $85 millions price tag does not come with Maintaining cost and Development cost
The significant costs of developing the plane, maintaining it, and testing it go unreported in these often-cited figures, prompting the following zinger from Grazier: "'Price tag is the only thing stealthy about the F-35
But do tell me which plane you pay for included those cost? The former Captain is not actually saying the aircraft is expensive, they are saying the maintenance and Development cost is hidden from the price tag. At the same time, if China procure a J-20, you don't
EVER pay for its maintenance and development??
