There is a saying in Bangla and that is, "গাঁয়ে মানে না, আপনি মোড়ল/ gaye mane na ,apni morol. " ! Literal meaning is no one in a village obey you ,but you are a self claimed chief of the village! India's case is the same! Even usa doesn't consider India anything but their foot solider. So does it really matter what India consider itself?

It's not all on a sudden , it's since when westerns realised that India isn't very good alternative to Pakistan. As Pakistan directly played important role for westerns against soviet; westerns wanted wanted such assistance from India against China.

But day by day west realised that India want to be another super power and a contender of west.

And that's why India isn't their option. So Bangladesh can do the same job for them against China as Pakistan did for them against soviet.

However Bangladesh won't take their side , as Bangladesh always has a very good relationship with China, and now the bond is stronger than ever ; although we remain neutral, but I believe we have a covert pact with China that we will always be by their side.

So why a country will do so ? Because Bangladesh already know the consequence of Pakistan and traitorous behaviour or west to Pakistan.

Bangladesh also observed that how nicely China is by Pakistan side as Iron ally; China already said once, "If anyone attack on Pakistan China will consider the attack on China herself." !

So it's clear that China won't back stub or kick it's ally like usa did .

And it's a strong reason for us to stick with China.

Everything is going fine ,and other than some unpleasant raw activities , all is well, and I wish all will be better in future.

So now again why west want to be influential in Bangladesh? Simply to capture the whole bay of Bengal so that China face trouble their. It's a part of cold war.

I differ with you here. See. I have a hypothesis. Although I have no proof.

The BJP in 2014 was helped by the west to come to power in India to a) Act as the West's attack dog against Pakistan and China. As a backup because they realized that they are losing ground in Afghanistan and B) to make it so that India does not contend with the West in terms of money and Power.
So basically the west does not need BD to combat China unless BJP loses power in the Centre . Indian armed forces backed by western investment and tech is more than capable of policing the bay and Indian ocean in general.

The west really has no political design for BD. BD is just a friendly business partner to the West. A partner BD economy needs to survive. A partner the West makes excellent profit from, but certainly their economy is not reliant on co- op with BD.

Regardless of who is the Villian the main thing is that when it comes to BD : The west has no political interest , rather diplomatic to get recognition for Israel from BD as that will be a massive diplomatic boost for the Zionists. The west don't need BD for their security.

I have a theory that by 2024. BD will have recognized Israel as a state. If the GCC recognizes Israel , BD will appear anti Semitic by not recognizing Israel. In the world today no economy can survive by having an anti Semitic policy. If BD recognizes Israel this will help strengthen Indian influence in BD and that means the PMD crew will have their old strength back. This is actually the only card the PMD crew have in their pocket to stop the growing Chinese influence in BD.
