He's probably still nostalgic of his long lost British Empire while ours is rising from the ashes
LOOL im not nostalgic about anything like that, I wasnt even born when the sun never set on our empire.lool
Im just making a point that, for a country that is a declared adversary/rival of the worlds sole super power U.S, China with its large population/wealth/hard working/skilled workforce and size should have created its own OS long time ago(even if it sisnt as good as those of the U.S, still they should have used it and improve it with time, thats how countries grow). This should have been mandatory for the countries companies to use it and erected virtual barriersto entry for foreign competitors like Android/IOS/MS etc. Just like what Japan did with their Auto industry in the late 60s when western companies were dominanting japans auto industry, now see where the Japanese are, same with the way China restricted western Internet companies which gave some space for their own homegrown tech Giants who today are as big as their American rivals and may son even overtake them.
So what im saying is the your CCP didnt really think things out correctly, they were too short sighted on this. Im even surprised to see they waited so long to create one. For a big country like yours, they should have done it ages ago. Now its too late since American tech companies dominate all the ecosystem in China. Even Chinese people wont use theirs, short of a government ban of foreign OS(which i dont see it happening). So i think it will be another COS.
