China to play constructive role in regional issues

China is committed to properly handling and resolving disputes through dialogue and consultation and willing to play a constructive role in resolving regional hot issues, Vice Foreign Minister Cui Tiankai said Tuesday.

Cui made the remarks in an interview on the first round of China-US consultation on Asia-Pacific.

Cui and US Assistant Secretary of State Kurt Campbell will co-host the consultation in Honolulu, Hawaii on Saturday. The two countries will exchange views on the situation of the Asia-Pacific region, their respective policies on the area, as well as other issues of common concern.

Considering the diversity in the Asia-Pacific, China stands for promoting regional cooperation based on the principles of consultation, openness and inclusiveness and solving issues step by step, Cui said.

As one of the most vital and energetic regions in the 21st century, the Asia-Pacific enjoys good economic development and increasing regional cooperation, Cui said.

"The Asia-Pacific is becoming an important engine to drive the growth of the world economy and its global position is rising," Cui said.

"The issues and challenges the Asia-Pacific is facing have not changed the trend of its rapid development and rise," Cui said.

Countries in the region have broad common interests and consensus in issues such as maintaining regional stability, promoting regional cooperation and peacefully resolving regional disputes, Cui said.

China, as an important member of the Asia-Pacific, shoulders with other countries the important mission of safeguarding regional prosperity and stability, Cui said.

China adheres to the path of peaceful development, mutually beneficial open strategy and the policy of friendship and partnership with neighboring countries, Cui said.

"China is willing to cooperate with other Asia-Pacific countries based on the Five Principles of Peaceful Coexistence, to jointly build peaceful, stable, cooperative and a win-win regional atmosphere with equality and mutual trust," Cui said.

LOL...We will appreciate if you do as your saying. Do not say one thing and do other thing. LOL . People listen your speech and watching your action then LOL:rofl:

the vn will cry on the ground.

Why will VN cry ? You do not understand anything about VN. Have you ever seen VN people cry with enemy in the past ? and you will never see in the future.

If they want to talk we talk, if we they want to fight then we fight. No problem with it. The real problem is the right thing.

Thank you. Because that's what we did after Vietnamese ships entered disputed territory and started drilling oil there.

If " China is committed to properly handling and resolving disputes through dialogue and consultation and willing to play a constructive role in resolving regional hot issues "
don't do the following actions
hit Vietnamese fisherman boat, shoot them sometime, catch them sometimes, even robber them sometime ...etc...even cut cable of researcher ships right in non-dispute sea
bring the issue to the international court, follow the internation law or let the researchers from both side and all over the world debate to find out the truth

hit Vietnamese fisherman boat, shoot them sometime, catch them sometimes, even robber them sometime ...etc...

And why? Because Vietnam sent its military to forcibly occupy these disputed areas. You don't need an international court to know what happened in the 1980s.

look at the first answer in this thread,he cry on the ground.

i find a interesting thing that many india and vn guys like using the photo "cry on the ground",but it not appear in china and usa guy.
so the man who live in hot south such as vn and india is more moodiness than the man live in cool north such as china and usa, russia.

You say you are right . We say we are right. If you don't want to bring to the international law, and using violation....then talk " China is committed to properly handling and resolving disputes through dialogue and consultation and willing to play a constructive role in resolving regional hot issues ". What kind of gentleman you are ? What do you want ? you want war ? We don't want war, we hate it, we like peace so we want to talk in the court with the law of international. How about you ?

Hey hey come here to quarrel, man, we discuss point to point all of your blur question there

BTW, we are not rich enough to buy enough war ship or send army to occupy sea as you are thinking. Those are real fishermen, they live there long long ago, their father live and work at that area very long long, their forefather too. We didn't sent army there. We only send army there if you continue to bully us, then Vietnamese have to work hard to feed army to fight and protect our sea,...ya..ya.. that what we don't like. We like work and play. We don't like to work and fight. But we don't scare of war if we are bullied.
