As things stand... the first wave of investments will go beyond 100 billion mark. Mainly by Chinese SOEs. After the establishement of infrastructure and powerplants... Industrial parks will see massive investements from Chinese companies and other countries. NO Charity again. Pure business.
Easily a total investment will go beyond 250 billions in a decade plus. This NOT a huge investment for a coutry the size of Pakistan.
Even the internal Pak market with its rapidly growing middle class is enough to sustain a 1,5 decade of rapid growth. If Paks can plan economic miracle for South Korea surely Paks are neither stupid nor poor. Corruption has been the cancer for Pak for too long now....

Just look at the indian section... how Paks Always support your country and your countrymen, and Paks get accused everytime for being Chinese cheerleaders by the indians.
Such Friendship, such devotion needs to be honoured by all Chinese posters.
Pak might be 'poor' or whatever... Chinese posters must at least honour what have Pak
done for China even when China was very very poor. I am sure you know the history of Sino-Pak relations.

cutting water off won't help on India. The Chinese will cut it off from India and will tunnel the water into Pakistan. There is a reason why this massive investment is ONLY being done around the Indus as the Chinese have total control over it, not India. It comes from China.
