Just months after they intruded into Indian territory in Ladakh, China appears to have done it once again. At the receiving end this time is India's longtime strategic partner Bhutan. TIMES NOW have accessed an internal note that has flagged off warning bells detailing the extent of the People's Liberation Army's (PLA) intrusion into Bhutan. The Chinese not only setting up three camps with PLA personnel to man them but also carrying out patrols at two locations on the 28th of May.

New Delhi, June 27: Is the Dragon hastening its plan to encircle India? According to a Times Now report, the channel has received an intelligence note which says that China's People Liberation Army (PLA) has intruded into Bhutan, one of the most reliable allies of New Delhi in south Asia.The report said that the Chinese not only set up three camps with PLA personnel to guard them but were also carrying out surveillance at two locations on May 28.A massive diplomatic row had broke out between New Delhi and Beijing a few months ago after the Chinese Army intruded into the Indian territory in Ladakh and set up tents there. The incident had caused irritants in the bilateral relations just ahead of the visit of the new Chinese Premier Li Keqiang in May.OneIndia News

After intruding into the Indian territory of Ladakh, China has made a foray into Bhutan, India's neighbor and one of its closest allies, according to an intelligence note in possession of the Indian news channel, Times Now.

The channel reported that China's People Liberation Army (PLA) had intruded into Bhutan and set up three camps and was carrying out patrols.

Times Now alleged that the Beijing government was reportedly carrying out surveillance at two locations on May 28, according to the intelligence note in their possession.

The report comes just months after New Delhi and Beijing had a diplomatic row over a border dispute and alleged intrusions by the People Liberation Army of China. However, the row died down after Chinese troops withdrew from the disputed land at the border.

The Indian government is apprehensive about China's increasing presence in the Indian Ocean, intrusions into its areas in recent times and China's dramatic influence over Nepal since the Maoist party came into power.

Recently, the Chinese State Councilor Yang Jiechi Monday told Nepal's Foreign Minister Madhav Ghimire that the new Chinese leadership was interested in ties with Kathmandu, according to the Global Times.
