The whole system needs a shaking down and rooting out of the corruption. I am moving toward the opinion that China needs to liberalize its media over time so that the "anger of the people" can become a force to root out corruption. One can point to fairly successful way media in Hong Kong and Taiwan can uncover down-to-earth, close-to-the-people stories that reflects on the society at large. Take for example the "bus uncle."Agreed. Kick the corrupt fats at the top. 1 corrupt fat steals the money of 10000 infantry. Our infantry are the best in the world, able to win wars with nothing but a machine gun and a sack of rice. Cutting down on your strength is ludicrous. Our top leadership is great too. Its the scum in the middle that need to be kicked.
In China this would be up to the internet with all its unreliability and false rumors. Having a liberalized media to also play this role is important. The only thing that's really holding China up in this respect is the constant, worldwide Jewish libel that keeps attacking China through the media.
The government needs to get Chinese people to be more nationalistic, and then they will naturally become offended at Jewish media. (The way many common Beijingers got offended by western media attempt last month to instigate some ridiculous uprising and even jeered at the American Ambassador was a good sign.) Then you can truly open up the media in China to all legitimate voices, which will make the political system much more responsive to people's concerns. That would be a very important step toward a society with good governance and rule of law.
