Chinese Vice Prime has assured Pakistan of full support to cope up with all security perils. Meng Jianzhu called on Chief of Army Staff General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani and Chairman Joint Chief of Staff Committeee Gen Khalid Shameem Wynne. Good news for Pakistan...it is always re-assuring for someone to say such things even if they are obvious....

If China can give the US a $1 trillion loan, I don't think giving a few billion $ to Pakistan is difficult for them. But I don't think Pakistan should be 'banking' on them (even though their support is unconditional), Pakistan needs to improve its self-sufficiency.

I hope Pakistan will concentrate on Economic reforms (tax reforms for instance) in order to increase self-sufficiency.

Though of course China will continue providing loans in the meantime as well. We have a lot of experience in infrastructure construction especially that Pakistan can benefit from.

we should not look towards anybody for help ...... China is our friend and we respect this but we have to stand on our feet now we can not look at China for everything .......... China helped us in many fields so that we become self relience
