when Chinese started having surplus of exports their currency started rising. It made their exports expensive and US started shifting to Vietnam, Philippines etc. and these countries were now more competitive than china

Chinese seeing that started buying US treasuries from those surplus dollars to keep the currency low and keep the export competitive. That’s why it’s an intertwined relationship where China has to buy US treasuries otherwise the yuan will rise against the dollar and collapse the exporting sector

It's an extreme subjective validation, and confirmation bias, and honestly silly.

China is world's top manufacturing power now. That's a hard as rock fact on the table, which doesn't get smaller, or bigger from the amount of wishful thinking of Western elites.

If the West wants to seriously compete with us, they need to start not from opening a yet another of those think tanks, but probably a steel mill, or two.

US manufacturing industry is dying, no way to deny it. Even a country such as India is on the way to leapfrog you in in a few years.

Vaccination in Turkey is not yet big enough to make any different, same here like in Indonesia after getting around 12 million vaccinated with mostly Sinovac, while our population is 270 million

Yes by 2030, in some sectors like semiconductors China will be at the top with USA but in areas like engines 2050 is a more realistic date.

Semiconductor is the pinnacle of technology. All other technology are relatively simpler. Even engine technology is simpler than semiconductor. China already has made engines for all its needs. Semiconductor us the only remaining technology
