China sends missiles to contested South China Sea island: Fox News

Well it could be that he is a Filipino that is pro-CCP, a foreigner that have lived here in the Philippines for sometime, or just a troll. The other is Fsjal, though he is not as active or as extreme as opruh, but his comments here are pro-CCP. He was also active in the old CDF forums before it went down.

Oh, I have totally forgot about Fsjal....

But yeah, I bet there are actually pro-China Filipino in Philippine anyway, this is not anything that's news to any of us. So yeah, they could basically be anything.

There is a big difference between Vietnam and China when regarding Typhoon Haiyan aid - your economy is second largest while Vietnam has smaller economy, do you think they could give large amount of money?

Whether it was a Filipino or not, you take glee in knowing that Vietnamese and Filipinos are killing each other and you always love to stereotype us "pirates" and "bandits"!

Do you think that I would believe that you don't have any form of hatred against other nationalities?! Because you clearly show it towards Vietnamese! And why make reference to that Vietnam War-era chemical weapon? Are you trying to imply that your country will destroy us and eventually force us to be your "friend"?!
Please allow us to remind you that we are, despite the 2nd most powerful economics in the world, still a developing country with billion of mouths to feed compare to the little Vietnamese population. With that in mind, do remember we never ask you anything in return for our aid. We didn't even ask for a "thank you". Not at all.

I believe it is important to admit your wrongdoing before making others investigated and found out themselves. Just as you deny the killing of Taiwanese fisherman until overwhelming evidence got leaked out, then you accepted responsibility.

Your hatred toward us is far stronger than any hatred I, or any Chinese have toward the Pinoy. We never have any hostile history with you. Never shot a single Pinoy! Yet, you are going to sit there and accuse that I hate the Pinoy? The reference to the Agent Orange showed despite the US beyond war criminal action, the Vietnamese can still regard the US as their sugar-buddy so I don't see why you house so much animosity toward us. We never done anything to you. Can we agree on this?

That is an interesting development on the sea lanes. What i think is that there seems to be a consensus that the tense standoff in the south china seas have resulted in unwarranted hostility on all sides. I don't believe that China is alone to blame here as this issue actually extends even before the landmark 2012 scarborough shoal incident that filipinos and vietnamese people tend to over emphasize and that the u.s tends to make reference to in key press releases. Perhaps it is time for the entire region or at least to start the claimant state members to agree on some kind of consensus on a binding code of conduct or some sorts. You seem to be a really approachable chinese member, i would like to hear your opinion on that.
We always welcome bilateral settlement of dispute and we are currently in discussion of a binding Code of Conduct with our ASEAN partner. We put down a list of concern through our negotiation party.

-All sides must remain calm and retreat from escalating the issue.
-Non-relevant parties in SCS should have no say or take into the Code of Conduct.
-Retreat from trying to internationalizing a regional sea dispute. This is an area our Philippines partner needs to do.
-A step-by-step is needed to resolve negotiation through mutual beneficial relationship and not through any arbitration or the use any outside foreign power to intimidate anyone and put pressure into a weak agreement.

Can these points be address by our Philippines and Vietnamese partner? That remain to be seen. We are ready 24/7, all day and everyday talk!

Just like US patrols in SCS does not make a difference :pop:

Building islands doesn't make a difference.:-)

The radar lock is nothing more than a friendly reminder that you are flying within 12 nautical miles of the island.

Why would China fire a missile at the benefactor that has financed China's entire economic miracle and military buildup in the first place? The US is the best thing that ever happened to China.

Indeed, you wouldn't want to destroy your own benefactor that could destroy you in the process.:-)

You go ask Fat Kim not me .
I will admire you if you guys take Fat Kim out like how you kill Saddam .

Hey you guys encouraged Fat Kim. Even look the other way.

. .
Unfortunately America doesn't have the guts to take out Fat Kim. Since unlike Saddam, Fat Kim can actually hit back with nukes. And America doesn't like it when their opponents can hit back, they tend to run away when that happens.
I don't mind Kim Jong Un. He is smarter than what Americans think of him. He used an earthquake and tell the world they tested a thermonuclear bomb and most of the dumb Americans believe him. :enjoy:

He is quite a genius. One of those guys who has a weak poker hand, bluffs his way to scare away bigger opponent, in this case superpower US.

Hanoi (VNA) – Vietnam demands China end its wrongful activities on Hoang Sa (Paracel) Archipelago, said Foreign Ministry’s Spokesperson Le Hai Binh on February 19.

He made the remarks in reply to reporters’ queries on China’s construction of a military helicopter base on Quang Hoa Island and its deployment of HQ-9 surface-to-air missiles on Phu Lam Island of Vietnam’s Hoang Sa Archipelago.

“ Vietnam is deeply concerned over China ’s aforementioned activities, which seriously violate Vietnam ’s sovereignty of the archipelago and threaten peace and stability in the region, as well as navigation and aviation security, safety and freedom in the East Sea ,” he said. “ Vietnam demands China immediately end these wrongdoings.”

The same day the Ministry of Foreign Affairs sent a diplomatic note to the Chinese Embassy in Hanoi to protest against China’s infringements on Vietnam’s sovereignty on Hoang Sa Archipelago.

Vietnam’s permanent mission to the UN also sent a diplomatic note to the UN Secretary-General proposing the official circulation of the Vietnamese foreign ministry’s diplomatic note.-VNA
