I work with Chinese engineers everyday and to a man, once they saw the Western version of the Korean War, they admitted they do not know as much as the Party allows. Everything about warfare and combat they do not know as much as they thought, from the technical aspects of combat such as troops deployment, artillery, or rifles in the cold, to strategies and political issues that led to the war. To a man, they were surprised that so much technical information are available. A Taiwanese engineer who did his time in the ROCA said that those details would have been classified away in China.

For normal Chinese, of course, we can't know every detail of Korea war, we are poor country, not like you, and you are open, for normal Chinese, it is in these years, we are much easier availabe to such huge information, you think we are not free, it is doesn't matter, the contact between you and US is not too long, you think we don't know your western version, do you really know we version?

As to Korean war, whether we won or not, depend on how do you define it, can say won, of coure, draw for Chinese, but absolutely not lose, it is doesn't matter, we sacrifice too much, but it is worthful, with much poorer equipment than you US, we can get this, that encough, you also lost too much, isn't it?!

You care to explain why US never declared victory over the Korean war? show me some backup in US textbooks?
When USA joined the war, SK was pushed back to PUSAN,
When China joined the war, the allies were at Yalu River.
The war ended at 38th.
Neither side was willing to sacrifice more for a unified Communist/Democratic Korea.
Both sides achieved their objective.
