As Khulna Shipyard is building some OPVs and FACs with TOT from China oldest proven friend from Bangladeshi perspective, it means Bangladesh is subscribed in core ally list of China (though current BD govt. messed up things a bit).

Patrol Boat (Offshore Patrol Vessel) and Fast Attack Craft are being built there so far I know from googling different sources, not very much sure though. But you could be sure that Patrol Boat and OPV are almost the similar term. The military pact that exists between China and Bangladesh is an Umbrella Pact as I know, can such treaty be signed between only partner if not close ally?
