Tomorrow, Indonesian president himself will come to Natuna islands and make statement regarding the latest incident. I can see 3 scenario after this incident.

1. China escalate the conflict to another level by bringing their naval support to back up their CG and illegal fishing fleet to confront Indonesian patrol fleet in Natuna.

2. They will retreat silently and distancing themself from the incident and prevent their fishing fleet to enter Indonesian EEZ.

3. Status quo. As if nothing happen. Their fishing fleet will keep fishing illegaly in Natuna waters, and Indonesian authority will keep seizing their boats. But this would be a slap in the face. China wouldn't want this to happen over and over again.
