You are one of the most pessimistic person I came across. Chill man. Learn to look at the glass half full sometimes. Anyway, I thought India had good relationship with Taiwan.

Once China take care of its business in SCS

China need Indian support to take care of SCS. For SCS China has to fight with all the surrounding countries including Japan, Vietnam and of course US. It will be good for China in India support them and don't meddle in this issue.

So it is very much possible that both India and China will come close and respect the issues which are sensitive to other side.

PS: Just visited Kaohsiung in December, lovely country and wonderful people Taiwanese are. So polite and humble. Please don't change that reputation on internet.

Precisely, China needs India to take on the US and the west. And India is falling into the trap if it works with China. India will see the stop delivery of western made arms if it sides with China as India is betraying the west.

In this case I am sure India will find the balance in relationships between the China and US. And since India has its border with China, it becomes more important. As far as western arms are concern, India is always getting it without the nod from US. France is always delivering its state of the art systems even after Indian atomic test back in 1998. I have faith on Indian foreign ministry, they always manage to get best out of worst situations and situation now is much better than the worst.
