I hope you did find "ultra-nationalistic" touch to the article by the author.Since that is the case,the article lost its quality.

Just want to give a reminder,as India has been spending money on defence,so is China.The good thing for China is that it has successfully surrounded India,with friendly countries like Pakistan,Myanmar,Sri Lanka and may be Bangladesh.

So having better equipment does not always help.Strategically China is indeed in a better position.

So the term "vanishing" seems like a term from a fanboy.The author is to be blamed for that.

The idea at least from the Indian point of view is to have a minimum deterrent against China. At present, India is not well prepared if China does plan to take on India. And that is what India is trying to rectify.

The idea is not to be militarily more powerful than China. But to make an armed conflict so expensive and disastrous for China that they don't want to go down that path.

India is not going down the offensive path. But as you mentioned, China is. So what India is doing is defensive unlike China.

That's total bullsh1t. China is not India. If there is any unrest, then the solution is seeing the SOURCE of people's unhappiness and addressing the issue directly.

Other the other hand, it is India that is using Chinese people (all Mongoloids really) as the SCAPEGOAT to their problems.
