Dreaming is not bad, when Abhishek stands with Amitabh and SRK he also thinks he is super star but you the reality.

I disagree with your opinion. With current scheme of things, Russia will find it more comfortable with willing Pakistan than than ambitious or demanding India...Russia also understands that the current India in 2016 is not the same as 1980. India will not accomodate or toe the same path as it was before. Whereas Pakistan of today, is in a situation where it will grab any one and everyone as it knows US is no more on its side...So i do not think, it is something a dream rather than sooner or later it will just be an official position of Russia.

Sleeping disorders? I don't seem to have any. Is that a disorder too?

its all depends ,

china buys around 8 b$ of russian weapons every year..
india also used to buy their hardwear but its on decline due to three main reasons , quality , offset and MII..in coming days import from russia will be zero....still india-russia has invested resently huge money in each other oil sector...that will keep the ties..

now as for pakistan , surely russia is seeing a new weapon market there , now its all depends how deep pocket pakistan is to buy russian weapons to compromise on import from china....

Sir, I am not that smart or can predict the future by any means, but I've studied strategic relationships and have worked in various areas so I have some sense on these international relationships.

I am making a prediction that there would be a time when India and Russians would become foes. They may not go to war with each other, but based on the American-India partnership, sooner or later, it would get them in a situation where the interests would be totally opposite. Its also visible that the love in India for Russian defense industry is ending and being replaced by Israel and the US. Similarly, the Russians and the Chinese already have a close relationships. And against the US, they would obviously strengthen it. Now add another nuke country connected with them by road, against India, its a natural partnership.

This is just the new world order at play. Just the way stuff happens about every 70-80 years around the globe. Friends become foes, foes become friends and life continues on. Thanks

The question is whether Russia really is ready to abandon India? Any one with logical sense can put his/her brain into it. It may happen but not for now. For the next two decades it's not going any where.

I don't have a crystal ball like you, but I can say their strategic interests in Central Asia do not align with yours (India-US).

They will continue to do business with you, because it benefits both.

Wow. The "Bakhts" have really attacked this thread with full butthurt [emoji38]
How is congratulating someone can be butthurt?

My congratulations to Pakistan the next super power. And I hate BJP. What does that makes me?

I did not quote you, nor did I mention you in my previous post so what makes you think that I was associating you specifically with the Butthurt? unless you have a guilty conscious

Russia clearly sees that the future of Asian economics lies with the CPEC, so it will move forward keeping its own interests in mind, rather than comforting an old wailing lady.

But what happens if the US decides to join one belt one road / CPEC also? I guess the whole world becomes friend and everyone's at peace? Read below:

I was about to congratulate Pakistan and then I saw your post. So I didn't want myself to be categorised as a butthurt. So I sought to seek clarification.

I heard president Trump's granddaughter is Chinese.

 No Sir, that little pretty baby girl is Jewish. However, they've already taught her Chinese and French (along with English). The purpose is for her to grow up and be a big deal, whether in politics or in business. A Child speaking Chinese like a Chinese person would, can do wonders in business and in politics. I think that Mr. Trump is setting all of his family to be the next US Presidents, just have a gut feelings from the pictures and interviews.

But let's take the discussion back to the main point. What do you think about the US now considering joining the one belt one road? I'd like to hear from all members participating on this thread. This is a serious move by the US to join a Chinese led, multi-national project across the globe.

@GreenFalcon : Sir, I responded to your post above with a link that the Trump administration is considering joining the one belt, one road, and the most prominent branch of that is the CPEC (and Pakistan growing and one of the highest return producing economies). Will you please open a separate thread for me as I can't open one up? The link was provided in the previous post. Thank you sir! I'd like to see how the members react to that news.
