China resumes talks with Russia on Su-35 purchase

. . .
So may be in 10 years we will be introduced with a new fighter "J-101 copycat ". :P

. .
i do believe that this news is true.... Su-35 not upto Rafale quality but still its far best jet fighter compared to other jet fighter.... China knows about Rafale and they knows that india will have combination of Rafale, su-30MKI, pak-fa, FGFA (which is twin seater), smallest LCA (all for IAF) while indian navy will have Rafale, latest Mig-29, NLCA and hopefully F-35 in future.... China needs a jet fighter that can match capablitys in technology.... Su-35 is the one but than india already has and will have super su-30Mki which is nearly su-35.... China knows that even having Stealth jet fighter they need the powerful engine and advance avionics to match the jetfighters and avionics india getting from developed nations like america, France, israel, uk, germany.... India getting far ahead in military technology (not numbers).... This news is real however i doubt china will buy su-35 because of the prize tag.... China wants cheap cost and in huge number.... Also china will be worried if they buy su-35 than it will give world wrong indication that chinese jetfighters not capable.... So am sure china wont buy it.... However they might want the su-35 avionics to use it in their own jetfighters which are being build (am very sure about it).... Russia wont give it as they know china will compete against them in selling jetfighters....

Those think Rafale is better than SU35 should got his brain checked ASAP. Its talking BS.

. .
how about J20 ? :woot:

only one way to put it --> china does not yet have the capability it shows off the world . their fifth gen fighters are as hollow as can be ; yes they can fly and have a low observable structure but lack avionics, radars and engines suitable enough.

Across all Eminent boards this article is being laughed at, word is Ruskis wont share this Vital Technology with Chinese

Depends on what they see as vital, IRBIS-E PESA is not a big deal anymore when China is already developing AESA radars, they have IRST and other IR sensors too, what they want and where they still lack behind is engine and thrust vectoring technology of the 117S engine and the 3D TVNs. They need it for their own engine developments and make their stealth fighters really 5th fighters with possible Supercruise and thrust vectoring features.
On the other side, Russia is already a step ahead and is developing the NG 117 engine and is asking us to join (fund) the developments. So when they provide us with the latest engine techs, they might be ok to sell the older techs to China, see RD33 MK to us and RD93 to China and Pakistan.

It is in many ways, avionics, weapons, radar technology, but the Su 35 has it's advantages too.

If they buy, it will be a couple. China will make its own Su-35, and better.

If you think Su-35 is better than Rafale, its you who needs to get his brain checked ASAP.

if there're gonna buy just a couple of them, Russia wont sell at all.

and btw, why do they need a Russian 4.5 gen fighter when they claim they have their own 5th gen fighter?
Maybe they've realised that until J-20 comes, the J-10 and J-11 wont be able to hold off Su-30MKI
and Rafale.

Talk is cheap, we have nothing to lose, au contraire it's an window opportunity why we would want to condamn ourself for a close door: We know what Russian want and Russian know what we want...so if there is a compromise a win-win solution, we're more than happy to strke a deal:smokin:.
