China requires censoring all computers

BEIJING — China has issued a sweeping directive requiring all personal computers sold in the country to include sophisticated software that can filter out pornography and other “unhealthy information” from the Internet.

The software, which manufacturers must install on all new PCs starting July 1, would allow the government to regularly update computers with an ever-changing list of banned Web sites.

China already employs more than 30,000 censors and thousands who “guide public opinion” by flooding bulletin boards with comments favorable to the Communist Party.



Now how am I supposed to trust anyone posting from China who replies that the story is not true ? A total perspective vortex, this is

Learn to write proper English before pointing towards anyone else......India is a forward looking democracy and the government does not and can not restrict anyones fundamental rights....

Some of you Indians are very hypocritical. India claims to be world's largest democracy but it doesn't allow freedom of speech.

Every Indian is allowed freedom of speech but he is not allowed to do damage to public property in the name of the protest....

Protest as much you can... don't disturb law and order and don't damage public property.... Isn't this the same in your country ....are you allowed to burn government vehicles and throw stones at public servants in your country?

Thats your reason for not allowing Kashmiris to take in part of peaceful protests against Indian army who raped and killed Kashmiri women. Kashmiris are peaceful people, its Indian army who gets violent when a Kashmiri speaks up for his/her rights.

China's language is Chinese. I know most Indians dont like speaking Hindi, but let China be proud of their language.

English is not the national language of China.

How can you make predictions what Kashmiris would do when they protest against Indian army for raping and murdering their people?

Your government arrested a Kashmiri activist before the protest that he called for could even take place, and Indians arrested him in his house, not when he was protesting.

Thats democracy in India.

It is not India that is talking against China, they are views of a Indian Citizen not official Indian govt. statement / stance.

As per state laws marriage of girls under 18 years and boys under 21 years is a crime for which the parents can be punished and marriage considered void.

THATS BS. Indian police arrested Kashmiri Activist Syed Ali Shah Geelani in his home before the protest that he called for could even take place.
