China Replaces Australian Iron Ore, Coal Imports with African Alternatives

coal will still be there. Aussie water shortage so better grains and meats are NOT exported. Both get what they want or need from less trade.
People who lose out are the Africans who sell non renewable coal on the cheap. haha Africans lose even more than the Germans lose.

Unless they are foreign owned NO nation needs to export. Everybody can just constantly buy with endless debt. Consume, take everything and anything you want, party, produce nothing and play hot potato. That is pretty much what the UK does.

Australian economy is a resource exporting economy. Their main market is China. Chinese demand has a multiplier effect on jobs in Australia where thousands of jobs are directly and indirectly dependent on China trade. No other country can absorb the amount of Chinese resource demand. Absolutely no one. Without China, Australia barely grows at all. Australian economy’s glory days are long gone and expect their housing bubble to pop which will completely crash their banking system. Australia’s glory days are finished.

Indian IQ really amaze me 😑

If there is no trade spat with China.
Australia can post 10% growth surplus with China in 2020. But now, only a mere 0,4%. And will be on negative freefall this year onwards

However, impacted by a deteriorating China-Australia relationship, China's imports from Australia saw an annual decline of 5.3 percent in US dollar terms, according to Chinese customs data on in mid-January.

What a disgrace to have "Think tank analyst" who resorted to personal insult and racial slur instead of healthy discussion

I said "Indian IQ always amaze me"
There is no "low" word there

So that's your ownself think your IQ low, not me.
If you even don't have any confidence on yourselves, how can people trust your word :D

low is implied as soon as you called me an Indian ..now isn't it..!? are you sure you're Chinese? I normally don't have to explain myself to high IQ Han members. Or, are you an outlier an anomaly?

Couldn't Aussies sell their beef to Indians? Couldn't Vietnam absorb all the seafood and iron ore?
Other countries were more than willing to replace Australia to supply China with commodities and produces. The French were quickly to promote their famed exquisite French wines in China which are now being served at fine dining restaurants. Iron ore, coal from African countries. Also recent warning from China to students to think carefully whether to choose Australia as their destination amid growing attacks against Chinese in that country.
We were being told by the idiots that it would be disastrous for China decoupling from the Aussies. So far we have not found any news articles showcasing which countries could replace China as their biggest customer. So who is the big loser here? Scott Morrison was betting on Trump's 2nd term but unfortunately miscalculated. Having a new trade minister come crawling on his knees won't change Beijing's mind. I predict things will get worse as the Aussies are not going to change their foreign policies in regard to the South China Sea. It will be fun in the coming years watching how their economy going south.

Australian economy is a resource exporting economy

like I said it is win win. Being a resource exporting nation is low man on the totem pole. Drawers of water hewers of wood. or however that goes.
Less trade with China will FORCE Australians to make more things and increase trade with Australian allies instead of Australian rivals. Trade within your group and keep others out. That will go for citizenship also. Chinese understand this...hence all Chinese abroad are considered as Chinese citizens. Economic invaders. Any citizen that remits is working for the other nation.
Note how nations all around the world are now wanting to make their own weapons. That will provide the technology to make other things. Nobody wants to be trapped or dependent.

The Aussie economy grew 2.4% in the last quarter from a pre-covid average of 0.4%
And Aussie trade surplus with China has increased even more in the last few months.

Yeah! Boi China stronk!! :china:
I think you need to check the latest figures. Things are not as rosy as it seems. Mines are closing down and alot are jobless now. Scottie boy just invited Kevin ruud as trade advisor to reestablish the Chinese relationship.

I think Pakistan also missed an opportunity here it could have played a part in becoming an exporter to china in this sector.

There are Huge Iron Ore Reserves in Pakistan but unfortunately they have not been developed due to corrupt Pakistan Establishment. As part of CPEC, Pakistan should do a JV with China, and have some of these Iron Fields developed. The largest one is Kalabagh with minimum 350-million tonnes of iron-ore reserves.
