Lahore has one And Metro Train is under way it's the project of Provincial government Even it's under construction in Multan Pakistan

About Karachi the Provincial Gov is to lazy and dumb that they don't want any metro there are plans but plans are just on paper even Japanese are ready to Invest in Karachi Circular Railway Project but as i said Sindh Gov is To dumb lazy *** *****

Yes Karachi is Ahead in Income from Lahore but As we said After 18th Amendment is Constitution Every Province can start projects according to their needs and Sindh Gov is busy in Corruption so they don't care about anything while Punjab is progressing even KPK is progressing

Well yeah they should have bt the thing is Metro Train will run on Electricity and we are yet energy deficient country So they preferred Metro bus but did Made Route (track) Elevated so that it can be converted into Metro Train in Future

Appreciated your reply, Russia was technology partner in projects not capital partner except for few defence projects. with China I am taking about major land, rail, port, airport projects are currently owned/ executed on their money.
Anyway I am not expecting the reply from you, it was just a thought

I knwo but why??? you've a higher than mountain friend who is willing to fund or give softloan to develop infra in Pakistan and China is well known for the dev projects... so why conduct a Bid??

Actually you dont know what is "METRO" this is A BRT corridor by calling it metro politicians is making Confusion or making people of pakistan fool in one more topic.

That Guy referring BTR corridor as Metro. In pakistan every one know it as metro. I am not joking. They actually dont know what is metro. There BTR is called METRO

I am not denying what contract says. Given Pakistan financial situation and China is not as generous in writing off the loans (America wrote-off huge loans for Pakistan), thought came across my mind.

We don't have enough money to build all that stuff in first place, secondly other countries are not investing right now but they will, Pakistan is open to anybody who want to invest. These projects will help our labor and engineers to work with experianced Chinese engineers and we will get some experiance so in future we can build these on our own.

You know in Dubai, before they have metro train the RTA busses known as metro, in Istanbul the same busses known as metro and the same was build with the help of Istanbul so they are using the same name "Metro".

May be in past but these day every where these projects are referred as BRT's. I am saying many people in Lahore actually dont know about real Metro. They know BRT as "METRO"

We call it metro bus. Rapis bus transit is known by different names around the world. In istanbul its also called istanbul metro bus.
