"China needs India more than India needs China" and in what sense would that be. Sure their economy is becoming stronger but China's annual budget itself is larger than India's GDP, let alone their GDP. It also has a higher growth rate, better infrastucture and more middle-class people.

India in no sense is a giant when you compare them to the real giants.

China also has problems with Japan,Vietnam,Philipines,Russsia,Hong Kong,Macua,Taiwan apart from Buddhist insurgency in Tibet & a fully blooded Insurgency insurgency in Xinjiang.Recently people of Hong Kong were protesting against the Chinese rule

Some small correction Khalistan is defunct,Maoist r not separatists,u cannot club with them with Freedom fighters. There r militant groups fighting against India just like Islamic militant groups in Xinjiang.Yes we have poverty,hunger,I don't deny. There was a time when more then 50% of Indians were below the poverty line,today it is 25%. U can solve the problem of poverty by waving a magic wand,it will take time.
