The electricity generation in China reaches 727.7 billion kwh, yoy growth rate at 9.1%. Electricity production at full year 2020 is 7417 billion kwh, 2.7% higher than full year 2019.

电力生产增速继续加快。12月份，发电量7277亿千瓦时，同比增长9.1%，增速比上月加快2.3个百分点；日均发电234.7亿千瓦时，环比增加20.7亿千瓦时。2020年，发电量74170亿千瓦时，比上年增长2.7%。

China's Value-Added Industrial Output Rose 7.3% in December

(Yicai Global) Jan. 18 -- Big Chinese industrial firms increased their value-added output by 7.3 percent last month from a year ago, which is more than expected.

The value-added industrial output, which measures the activity of designated large enterprises with annual turnover of at least CNY20 million (USD3.1 million), climbed by 2.8 percent in 2020 from 2019, the National Bureau of Statistics said today.

The December figure was predicted to be 6.9 percent up from a year ago, according to a survey done by Yicai Global among chief economists.
