How the hell Trump imposed 1000 billion $s tariffs on China when the whole export of China to USA is 540 billion $s whereas US exports to China are 120 billion $s, so in total there was around 660 billion $ trade volume between US and China in 2018. The current tariffs imposed by Trump on Chinese exports to US are 25% on 250 billion $s that is just 75 billion dollars, though Trump is now threatening to impose additional tariffs starting from 10% on the remaining 300 billion dollar Chinese exports to US which will be 30 billion dollars, but yesterday he announced to delay most of these tariffs until December 15 due to US holiday shopping season.
