I only see them get punishment when scold CN politicians bcs they (CN politicians ) are only good at talking nonsense like u guys (Alibaba, Tencent) or flee to VN to avoid trade war (Xiaomi,Luxshare)

China has to fabricate her own chips of all sorts: logic, mixed signal, memory, analog, memory etc.!!! I am pretty sure almost all the chip designs are available with them! However, they need to hone up their skills in process technology, materials, packaging, yield, reliability etc...

As for the emerging powers like Turkey, Pak etc., it's a welcome development...

Developed Industrial nations will never give nor transfer any of their technologies away to any nation including their allies.

It is well known fact that USA supplied and sold downgrade AEGIS and F-35 to Japan.
USA demanded a price equivalent to 2~3X more for upgradation.

A socialist nation like China has little or no choice but to build everything from scratch.
In the early days e.g. 60's 70's it has no choice but to copy the established designs or shape.
They don't even have a working model to reverse-engineer from.
Time has changed. China R&D may be in parallel with those from the West.
China has successfully developed its fast charging EMALS while USS Gerald Ford EMALS failed to satisfied US Navy requirement. Zamwalt abandoned its Railgun while China Railgun is on track to be install on its later 055 destroyer.

Varyag was just a rust bucket and only its hull when it was towed back from Ukraine. All its equipment were reinvented or developed from scratch yet fhe West portrayed it as a secondhand Aircraft Carrier bought from Ukraine. Hardly qualified as one then.
Today it is just a training Aircraft Carrier for PLAN.
