I don't think what we are doing is wrong. We learn from both history and reality it is a gungle out there, we must do any means necessary to defend our ancestor's legacy. Even if we give it up to the trespassers for mercy, the consequence shall still haunt us if we were weak. So the key is to keep strong as long and as much as you can. Besides, although from your point of view we are bullyer who should pay for this, dead indians and slaves haunted no Britain nor USA, so why the consequence is necessarily bad to us?
sorry to broke your wonderland dream but we did exactly the same like you do now 100 years ago, to count on other's helping us to get our justice, to listen to our request. But we paid lives and blood to eventually realize the brutal face of the world. Maybe you and I are learning different history
sorry, I mean no harm to Philippine ppl and their history. I'm not here to hurt your feelings. like I said I harbour no love nor hatred to your ppl. I am aware of your colonized period and never mean to insult the great and honourable sacrifice that the philippine ppl made to get their independence. I am merely telling you the truth we learn from history, which is not from government but from my family. Imperialist invaded my country was advanced not because they are loving but because they are brutal and keen to procure their own interests. In fact, we lose so much to hope they had mercy to us but eventually they answered us with killing and oppressing, from which we learned that never count on anybody but defend yourself by any means necessary.
