When the U.S. has a pro-Pakistani stance they group us with South Asia when it's the opposite they group us with the term Middle East or Greater Middle East.

When someone talks politics with me and says "Middle East" I correct them and say "West Asia". It's annoying when Westerners who aren't even from Asia think they can group us in what ever category they choose.
