China-made subway cars ready for Boston passengers by end of 2018

. .
In the end the Chinese engineer says that they will hire local people to boost local employment, and I noticed that the subway stations don't have screen doors to keep the waiting passangers away from the tracks and incoming trains, that's very dangerous.

Boston subway stations are not very crowded. Accidents are very rare.

It's for the case that some crazy people may push others into the tracks or someone may jump down to commit suicide. It's a standard protection for the subway stations at least in China.

Screen doors are an excellent idea to keep waiting passengers away from tracks and incoming trains. Here in Canada also there are no screen doors. Whenever I'm waiting for the subway train I make sure that I stand far away from the railway tracks or lean against the wall if I'm near the tracks.

Can you post a picture of screen doors of subway stations in China please?

Wrong state and wrong subway.
I have never heard of anybody being pushed on a Boston subway.
I mean every Chinese city, the safety standard is uniform in China, doesn't vary from city to city.

That’s because they were all built around the same time. The Boston subway has been running for around 130 years. Not many people have been killed after falling from a station platform in that timeframe. It hasn’t been considered a problem. Some subways in other states have platform doors.

No screen doors is waiting for disaster to happen all it takes is one drunkard or a pshycopath.

Even malaysian underground subways have separators.

At least put up some for the New York subway stations, many people die there.
