I woul to know the opinion of Chinese members about how fast the Country has changed. I would compare the infrastructure of China in 1980-90 and China's infrastructure today...

Hangzhou Qiantang River Second bridge Highway and railway bridge. 1340m long. Built in 1991

Changxing Port Bridge
Built in 1986

I am not impressed。

I want to see consistent 7.5% plus growth for the next 30 years。

Yes, really impressive changes in just less than 40 years.

The HSR and highway constructions will carry on because it is necessary to ease the excessive steel productivity.

I hope a smooth and consistently economic growth and a complete and structural reform in legislation and business principles.

In this decade people have been building many casinos and hotel in Macau.
We are rich as hell now, but those negative effects caused from the changing is still a big issue.

Lots of changes indeed but I cant but feel that we have lost a part of ourselves in the headlong rush to develop. The need to compete and earn is too strong and youth is lost in a haze of work, work and more work.
My family has prospered much financially but many days I reminiscent of the days when money was short, I was younger and life was simple. Material wealth has brought more emptiness than the younger me could ever have imagined.

Are Chinese people impressed? :woot:

What a dumb question  as chinese people don't have choice to express their opinion and feeling and china is not a democracy

When times are hard and uncertainty about the future looms over Chinese, we only have to picture the Indians and their country and we will quickly appreciate what we have and achieved.
