China is taking lunar mining seriously

Do you also claim Indians invented F-22 because they were part of the team? Claiming the ability to go to space because you ride on America ships and even Russian ones, well, our soldiers have been on Kitty Hawk, maybe we are also a carrier super power.
Is it necessary for you Chinese to recall India or Indians in every now and then thread??

We have better missions, you can compare yourself to North Korea or Pakistan.

Holy !!! What a giant camera, it can only be used in out space /

I thought that all countries with space travel capability signed a treaty about not using space and asteroids and planets as territory and property? The same kind of treaty about not using Antarica as military bases or havesting resources there (Antarica has the biggest oil reserve on Earth).

. . . .
.
The treaty explicitly forbids any government from claiming a celestial resource such as the Moon or a planet, claiming that they are the common heritage of mankind. Art. II of the Treaty states that "outer space, including the Moon and other celestial bodies, is not subject to national appropriation by claim of sovereignty, by means of use or occupation, or by any other means". However, the State that launches a space object retains jurisdiction and control over that object. The State is also liable for damages caused by their space object.

That means China can have a mining base on Moon, but weapon allowed? @Peter C

Yep, mining is fine. Weapons are allowed as long as they aren't nuclear or whatever the definition of WMD is at that moment.

doesn't matter, for this particular deal, we don't have to claim anything, we can just do what we want, only three nations can even go up there.

This obsession is unfounded, even if we make Vietnam king of space, what does that change? You can't go up there.

I am just worried the next WW might be fought over the Moon. Murphy laws remember?

There are very few countries that have the capability to get to the moon, let alone fight over it. China needs Helium 3 and other resources in space. This is more valuable in my opinion than landing on mars simply for prestige.
