Try again. The reason China is ahead of India is not just because of China, but also of India’s inability to self introspection. Unless India can correct itself, it will never catch China.

The only thing that India could do is imposing restrictions through tariffs, quality and security policies to prevent Chinese goods into India to protect the local industries. But Modi has completely failed to take any action on this front.

Read my post again, what don't you believe in? That India cannot produce or is not producing Ganesha statues? China is not Japan or Germany which produces high end products or services for export, its strength lies in producing cheap products in mass scale.

India produces cell phones. Again the Chinese phones are cheaper. But FYI top Chinese brands like Xiaomi are now producing handsets in India. Nokia, Videocon, Reliance etc are all manufacturing cell phones in India.

1, China's industrial system benefits from literacy and education. The literacy rate in India is now 70%. It's probably China's 70s level.
2, I can't understand the human rights of Dalit and the 18 million modern slaves.
3, India's 5G network is established by Huawei. And India network coverage is very low.
