You should have been here when I joined this forum in 2014. Chinese thought it was inevitable China would grow 2-4X US nominal GDP.

Nearly a decade later, outside of the Covid year anomaly, China hasn’t closed the GDP gap in a significant way in over a decade.

That is not true.

China is always reinventing itself in fastest way.

As you can see from the rate of adopting new things, two decades ago, a decade ago, and today, it's a completely different world, different economy.

From sweatshop factories to revolution industry v4, e-commerce, cashless society, EVs adoption, HSR, AI, etc.

The fast-growing China is actually what makes USA worry and gave the ultimatum.

China's youth unemployment is always high since a long time ago.

The news is not something new.

But eventually they will get jobs.

Because China is hiding their true GDP and at the same time USA is manipulating their GDP.

The strong indicator can be seen from how China is keep building their infrastructure while USA unable to rebuilt their old infrastructure.

But it's true if both China and USA are not honest in their economic report.
